Tjilpi Bob Randall, 1934-13 May 2015, was and continues to be a deeply loved and respected Yankunytjatjara Elder from Australia, Keeper of Uluru, member of the Stolen Generations and former Indigenous Person of the Year. Uncle Bob has so much Love and Wisdom for us all to hear… Please watch his film on tube Kanyini. Amongst many accomplishments in loving service to all life, Uncle Bob Randall was a credited Elder, teacher, author, singer and community leader. In 1970, Tjilpi brought to light the issue of forced removal of Aboriginal children from their families. His song, “My Brown Skin Baby They Take Him Away,” written at the time, is described as an “anthem” for the Stolen Generations.
Tjilpi is a great Inspiration for millions around the world and so very dear to my heart! I am so grateful for your Presence in this world the gifts you have brought! I love you always Tjilpi! Love, ʻIolani
